The DAP Graduate School of Public and Development Management (GSPDM) opened the fifth batch of the Master in Productivity and Quality Management (MPQM) major in Microfinance last March 10, 2018 at Rizal Hall, DAP Building, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The MPQM is a 14-month interdisciplinary degree program that has a special focus on microfinance concepts and practices, as well as the Philippine Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence. Forty (40) students from the Center for Agriculture and Rural Development Mutually Reinforcing Institutions (CARD MRI) are enrolled in the program. CARD Inc. was co-founded in 1986 by Dr. Jaime Aristotle B. Alip as a social development organization. In 2008, Dr. Alip received the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Public Service in behalf of (CARD MRI) for successfully providing self sustaining financial service for half a million Filipino women and their families.
